Hey, I’m Elysha!
Student at Master’s College and Seminary
I love Jesus
I love tea (with plenty of sugar)
I love music / singing
I love the arts
Whether this is the art of writing, dancing, painting, drawing, etc., It captivates me. What a wonderful thing it is to have the opportunity to create, to express our internal thoughts and feelings externally for others to perceive – whether this is done delicately or furiously, it gives someone the chance to express themselves –
& for that I am thankful.
Who I Am
This world consists of many things that I could use to define myself with, put my identity in, and place my self-worth in: social media, wealth, culture, ethnicity, glorified capabilities, etc.
But since I met Him, since I met Jesus, the things of the world don’t attract me as much as they used to. I’ve come to the realization that a broken foundation produces a broken being. I have no intention on placing my identity in the world, for it is broken.
Jesus on the other hand, He is whole.
So, Who am I? I am a child of God. I have chosen to abide, to follow, and to trust in Him because He is worth all that I am and so much more.
Who am I? I am free. I am free from shame, sorrow, pain, hatred, and death.
Who am I? I am unworthy, yet loved.
I am loved by Jesus, and I have a desire to let other’s know that they are loved by a being that is more divine, powerful, kind, merciful, and gracious than any other being.
With all this being said,
I hope you enjoy surfin’ my site as much as I enjoy writing in it!
